You’re paying for AI tools, but you can’t see what they’re getting you. Your team hasn’t officially agreed on how to use them.

We get everyone on the same page, so your team uses AI with confidence and the spend pays off.

The why

You don’t fall behind by moving slowly.
You fall behind by paying for AI no one agreed how to use.

Most companies now pay for AI. How much are you actually getting back? Teams are split on using it: a few people race ahead, others opt out. And no one is sure what sensitive information is going into it. Leaders see the bill, but not the payoff.

Only one in eight CEOs (12%) say AI has delivered both cost and revenue benefits. 33% report gains in either cost or revenue, while 56% say they have seen no significant financial benefit to date.

The speed of trust
“Trust always affects two measurable outcomes: speed and cost. Where trust is low, everything takes longer and costs more.”
Stephen M.R. Covey, author of The Speed of Trust

Low-trust tax

Everything takes longer and costs more.

High-trust dividend

Everything happens faster and costs less.

The tools arrive
before the
conversation.

Most companies roll out new AI tools, but never talk with their teams about how, when and where to use them. That’s where rollouts stall.

  1. It’s rare that people connect AI to the real work.

Leaders ask for adoption, but no one asks how people feel about it.

  2. Rules are written for people, not with them.

So people nod along, then do their own thing.

  3. Training only covers the features.

People learn what the tool does, not when to trust it or how to keep their own voice.

  4. It’s treated as a one-time event.

One training session, then back to work. Most skeptics don’t share their concerns.

Our Approach

Make it safe to say what you really think.

The AI Team Alignment Workshop is team facilitation, not tool training. We work with your humans and the everyday AI products your team already uses.

  1. 01Before

    Ask first

Everyone answers a few quick questions, so we know how the team feels.

    A team pulse
    How are you using AI?
    What would help?
    What worries you?
    Ask.
    Listen.
  2. 02The workshop

    Make it safe

Short exercises build trust, so everyone is heard.

    Curiosity belongs here.So does doubt.
  3. 03The workshop

    Hopes and fears

What people hope AI could do for them, and what they fear.

    Hopes.

    More room for useful work.

    Fears.

    Quality. Trust. Our jobs.

  4. 04The workshop

    Write the rules

The team decides together how it will use AI.

    1What worked?
    2What got in the way?
    3What do we try next?

What your team walks away with

  1. A clear picture

What’s working, what worries people, and where the opportunities are.

  2. An AI Team Agreement

Privacy, human review, accountability and experimentation, written by the team.

  3. One project to try

Hands-on practice on real work, with an owner and a date to compare notes.

How you’ll know it worked

Before

A short pulse survey, and an agreed picture of success.

Right after

The same survey again, before and after side by side.

A few weeks later

We review the first try together and plan what’s next.

One good afternoon and a plate of cookies won’t change habits on their own. That’s why we check back.

Work with us

Align together.
Make it stick.

We recommend starting with the workshop, then eight weeks of practice so the new habits stick.

Who it’s for

Suggested start
Leadership team

Get aligned on vision and guardrails first, so you lead the conversation. You agree what AI should do for the business, what’s off limits, and how you’ll talk about it with everyone else.

Managers and team leads

The people in the middle, asked to roll out AI without a map. They leave with a shared language, a way to hear their team’s worries, and rules they can stand behind.

The whole team

Full staff, or one department as a pilot. Everyone has a say in the rules, so early adopters and skeptics end up working from the same agreement.

Not sure which format fits your team? We’ll help you choose.

How one team agreed
on how to use AI.

A mission-driven green infrastructure consultancy turned a real split on AI into shared decisions the whole team could stand behind.

  1. Every voice heard

All 20 staff shared their hopes, concerns and experience with AI.

  2. Ground rules, together

A leadership session and a retreat designed for staff to shape the policy themselves.

  3. Explore + guard

Two champions on each team: one looking for good uses, one watching for risks.

Questions

Before you put it in the calendar

Do we need to be AI experts?

No. We adapt the session to your team’s experience and work with approved tools and fitting examples. Enthusiasts, skeptics and people still figuring it out all belong in the conversation.

How do you make it relevant to our work?

We start with a sponsor conversation and a short questionnaire about current use, concerns and priorities. Together we choose the focus, examples, length and what your team should take home.

Can we do this online or in person?

Either. We agree the schedule, tools and any accessibility needs together.

How will we know it helped?

We agree what success looks like, run a short survey before and after, and review your team’s first try a few weeks later.

What does it cost?

Fees depend on team size, format and location. Tell us about your team and we’ll send a proposal with the preparation, sessions, follow-up and fees spelled out. We’re offering founding-client rates to a small number of teams this quarter.
